Esker Technologies and ZeroWire Recognized for Technology Innovation

November 2, 2009 - Governor Jim Doyle today announced that Esker Technologies, LLC, located in Milwaukee, will receive a loan from the Technology Venture Fund program to complete development of its new digital communications technology.  "Even during these difficult times, it's important we continue to invest in innovative companies like Esker that are creating the jobs of tomorrow for hardworking Wisconsin families," Governor Doyle said.

November 2008 - ZeroWire was awarded the prestigious “General Motors SEMA Design Award for Most Innovative Product" at the annual SEMA (Speciality Equipment Marketing Assocation) show. 

ZeroWire was welcomed into the General Motors family with one of 13 highly-coveted recognitions at the second largest show in the U.S. for the automotive industry, where a custom ZeroWire system debuted on a highly-photographed 1961 SplitWindow Corvette Fastback built by Street Rods Only.

December 2007 – Patent number 7,307,520 issued for ZeroWire – 3 patents pending

June 12, 2007 - Esker Technologies was recognized as finalist in Governor’s Business Plan Competition for the second time in 3 years at the 5th Annual Wisconsin Entrepreneur’s Conference in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Governor Jim Doyle recognizes the top 20 innovative companies based on technological advances and business planning.

November 1, 2006 – The Pulse Jet vehicle wiring system was awarded an International New Product Award at the SEMA Show in Las Vegas. Pulse Jet was specially designed for Limeworks Speed Shop in Whittier, California using ZeroWire technology. A complete vehicle wiring system can be installed in less than 2 hours.

October 30, 2006 – At an awards dinner at the Small Business Innovation Consortium Conference in Madison, Wisconsin, Esker Technologies was recognized by WISBIC with the “Wisconsin Small Business Innovation Award for Outstanding Achievement” award for working with the US Air Force and the University of Wisconsin – Space Science & Engineering Center to evaluate the use of ZeroWire on Surveillance Satellites.

June 9, 2006 – Small Business Times Highlights ZeroWire In June 9th Issue
Milwaukee-based Esker Technologies recently received a Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) Phase 1 program grant from the U.S. Department of Defense working with the U.S. Air Force. Esker received about $100,000 in funds to conduct a feasibility study to determine if its flagship product, ZeroWire, will help the U.S. Air Force control the cost, weight and ease of service for its satellites, said Brad Rake, managing partner and president of Esker.
